Our Result for Femund is Nr. 35
February 10th 2011
Sick dogs infected by a diarrhoe virus were a big problem.
I´m a little bit frustrated about our result, Femund seems not to be my race. We trained a lot this year and invested so much time and work into this World Championship it´s hard to deal with this now.
We will say thanks to all the support we got on the race. Special thanks to our main sponsor Axess Hundfoder and all the people in Folldal an Roros.
All in all the dogs which were left were 6 young dogs from 2 till 3 years, our older dogs had to be taken out from the team so our rutined leaders were out order. through snowstorm and over the mountains in fjäll. They did a good job and all in all the team reached the finishline. So we keep an eye on getting our dogs healthy again they eat very well and so they get better quickly.

All in all it was a tough race. We´re looking forward to training in Pasvik Tal i Norge and Pasvik Trail 2011.

The last long Trainingsrun before Femund
24.01.2011
I think the team is well prepared for Femundlopet, there were no harder injuries but I´m thinking about the females wich came in heat right now. That´s a very bad timing right before the race. Now we´re focused on beeing mentally strong for the long race that we can take our chance to have a good result!
