I started my mushing- carreer in the early 80s. The first 15 years I run sibirian huskies and in this team I learned a lot about mushing and dog- treatment. 

I ran a lot of smaller  sprint middle distance races in Germany and all over Europe with my Sibirians and also the Transitalia and Alpirod with them. In this races like the second Alpirod I decided to change to Alaskan Huskies.

In 1996 I moved from Germany to Sweden to make my dreams come true and to spend more time in Nature together with my dogs . From 96 till 2001 I did a lot of mountain trips, sometimes I ran some smaller races.

Dogs are my live, maybe I´m not the best racer but I´m a really good dogtrainer.

In 2004 I got a son called Espen and after this my live changed completly. Now there are not so many lonly long trips any more.

For this Season I´m focused on training for Femundlöpet the worldchampionship in February, so i try to make it as good as possible this year. Training goes very well at the moment because I have only 16 of the best dogs left in training this makes the whole work easier . I really enjoy the outdoor live and let´s see what future brings!
